CREATIVE SECTOR

Digital and print

Campaigns, presentations, events, advertising and marketing collateral, produced alongside the product design rather than instead of it.

Most of my career has been enterprise product design. Alongside it I have been the person who makes the launch happen: the campaign assets, the deck the CEO presents from, the explainer that runs in the webinar, the stand graphics, the packaging that goes to a printer with no chance to fix it afterwards.

Two things make that combination useful. I can build the thing and sell the thing, which means the marketing material actually describes the product rather than approximating it. And I have taken work all the way to physical production, where a mistake costs a print run rather than a deploy.

What I do

01 / Campaigns and advertising

Creative that has to sell something

A self-funded Amazon campaign for Noontime Games that sold over three thousand units of its flagship board game. Listing creative, advertising, packaging and pricing, with nobody to sign it off and my own money at risk. Alongside that, positioning and partner material for enterprise security audiences, and marketing sites designed end to end.

02 / Presentations and technical translation

Decks that get presented to a CEO

Pitch decks, sales decks and executive presentations at Mvine, presented to senior stakeholders and CEOs including BT and Exclusive Networks. Product architecture diagrams that turn dense technical concepts into something a non-technical buyer follows in ninety seconds.

03 / Events and motion

Work that has to land in a room

Product explainer videos and event collateral at Mvine, taking platform capability that took twenty minutes to demo and making it land in three. Then animated attack chain and threat intelligence explainers for Blackwired, used in a live enterprise webinar with a major telecom and security partner.

04 / Print

Work that cannot be patched after release

Five board/card games designed through to manufacturing, over seven thousand units sold. Packaging, production artwork, component specification and supplier selection. Alongside that, a visual identity and illustrated map for a visitor attraction, a brand system for a timber-frame construction company, and identity work for small businesses across several sectors.

Selected work

Blackwired

Creative direction, motion, sales and partner enablement

Blackwired had a genuinely sophisticated security product and material that did not do it justice. Dense, flat, hard to follow, and asking a partner sales team to explain something they could not picture.

I rebuilt it. Attack chain and threat intelligence workflows became animated explainers, technical architecture became diagrams a non-technical buyer could follow, and the whole thing became a coherent suite of sales and partner enablement assets for a global enterprise audience. Content from it ran in a live webinar with a major telecom and security partner.

The work was translation more than decoration. Most of the effort went into understanding what the product actually did, with founders and technical specialists, before anything was designed.

Noontime Games

Print production, packaging, advertising

Co-founded a board game company and designed five games from concept through to manufacturing, selling over seven thousand units. Product ecosystem, packaging, production artwork and marketing, plus supplier selection and pricing. The flagship title sold over three thousand units through a self-funded Amazon campaign.

The most complete brief I have run: design, supply chain, print production, pricing, advertising and customer feedback, with my own money at risk.
